In 2015, AQM steps up its development in Asia, by opening two new offices in strategic textile production areas, such as Vietnam and Myanmar.
For several years, our teams have conducted a multitude of physical (dimensional stability, colour fastness, pilling...) tests via inspection centers.
Based on this expertise and know-how, AQM has opened a textile laboratory in Shanghai, to reveal the intrinsic quality of the controlled products.
The tests conducted permit to ensure the satisfaction of the end consumer throughout the lifetime of the product.
In order to be closer to operations, the managerial team, made up of sales, marketing and IT teams, initially based in the north of France, relocated to Shanghai.
After having successfully intervened in India for a European customer, the AQM teams were given the responsibility of setting up an inspection center. It was dedicated to controlling the production quality of the brand in Bangladesh.
It was the first of a number of developments in Asia. Today, AQM has eight inspection centers worldwide and is regularly opening new units.
The story began when the founders of AQM realised that distributors in their home town had a lot of problems with the quality of their Asian imports, despite the solutions already in place.
In order to cater to this, Alexandre Godvin and Grégoire Prouvost, two Polytechnic Lille engineers, created Asia Quality Management with the support of Innotex (Incubator of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textile).
AQM aims to provide much more than a simple check, thanks to a textile expertise coupled with a precise understanding of end consumer behaviour. Therefore, AQM offers buyers tangible help in the decision-making process.
“We work hand in hand to make your quality our priority”
“AQM’s ethic is to maintain reasoned growth for a quality of service commensurate with our customers’ expectations”
